Year 5 Space Centre Trip
On Friday 3rd November, the Year 5 children blasted into space and visited the National Space Centre. The children learnt all about the history of space travel as well as how astronauts live and survive in space. They had the chance to touch actual satellites and landing pods that have held astronauts over the years too. The children also tasted life on other planets in a range of educational simulators and experience pods. In the Sir Patrick Moore 360 degrees cinema, the children had a close up view of life in space and the dangers they can encounter. The children were a credit to the school and a good time was had by all.
