Sandy Christmas Lights
On Sunday, 3rd December 2017, a group of our pupils sang a number of Christmas Carols at the Christmas Lights festival. I call it a festival because I have attended this annual event for many years and it is always a pleasure to watch our pupils entertain their family and friends during this community day.Even though our town is quite small; I am amazed at how many stalls and rides were available for families to enjoy. The planning and preparation, I expect, must take months. Many businesses and community groups have joined together to raise much needed funds for a range of charities and organisations. All of the schools in Sandy took part inthe festivities and embraced the opportunity to entertain us town folk through singing, drama and dancing. Today was another example of how effectively we all work together when we put the children at the centre of all we do.
