Sandye Place Celebration Day - the Final Farewell

On Sunday, 14th July 2019, we will be holding an event to commemorate 67 years of Sandye Place serving and working in the community and to raise money for charity along the way. The highlight of the event will be a football match between Arsenal Legends team and Sandye Place Academy team (kick off at 1pm). There will be other activities running as well, including a fun football tournament, music performed by local bands/artists, funfair and stalls and sideshows.

We would like to involve as many community groups from Sandy as possible to ensure the community is fully involved. To this end, we have already emailed a number of local community groups to ask if they would like to run a sideshow or stall. If you are involved in a group and would like to be involved in some way, please contact for more information.

All proceeds will be split between St John’s Hospice, Moggerhanger (70%) and the Arsenal Foundation (30%).

There will be a fun football tournament for children in Years 5 — 9, which we will advertise in the near future.

Please put the date in your diary, watch this space for more information.
