Our Staff

The Academy employs 15 teachers, 6 teaching assistants and over 20 support staff. The staff structure consists of the senior leadership and management teams, heads of department, teaching and support staff.

Class sizes are mixed ability forms with three classes in Year 6, and two in Years 7 and 8. As children progress through the school there is a gradual increase in specialist teaching to meet the National Curriculum standards. Special provision is made for those children with learning needs with additional teaching and support staff to support the learning programme.

The Academy has provided parents and carers with teachers' email addresses to enable you to contact them directly. Teachers will endeavour to reply within 36 hours. However there might be occasions where this might not be possible due to events outside their control, e.g. illness, school holidays, etc.
